...and and of oneness with the Moner Manush (the man of the heart).
Though online, in the Baul Mela Online we sit in the divine company of Parvathy Baul and different Baul Masters from West Bengal and Bangladesh.
Traditionally, the Baul Melas are held in the Akharas (Ashrams) in remote villages of Bengal where Baul Masters come together to celebrate the 'Being' and share their blessings.
Parvathy Baul has created this Online Akhara, inviting Baul Masters who are in the villages and otherwise not easily accessible even when one is in India, blessing us with a very special and precious occasion to get an intimate insight into their lives and practice, with us becoming witness to the unfolding of their Sadhana (Meditation) through their songs.
The Baul Masters live in Ashrams in remote areas with poor technology and internet connection. We went through many hours of heartfelt efforts to bring them online, to prepare these videos, audios, booklets and ultimately to create a sacred space for all of us.
Enjoy this celebration of songs, sacred spaces, and spiritual selves — all moderated by Krishna’s leela.
